It has been reported that some area sweeps have made considerable profits by practicing consumer scare tactics, and insisting that excessive repairs are critical for fire safety. Many unnecessary repairs, and even "relinings" are routinely recommended.

We do not rebuild or reline chimneys.  We give an honest and unbiased assessment of the fireplace and chimney condition.  We have no referral arrangements, monetary gain, or any other motivation to recommend unwarranted repairs or relining.
